Huge crane at work today!

Number that was rumored was 20K per unit, not sure if I can believe that though.
 
^^^. That doesn't sound too far off depending on how many units.

The weight is not the issue, it's the distance the crane has to reach. Looks like they put the offset jib in so there isn't much weight capacity there, likely 6,000lbs at full extension and if they expect to go down to a 30* offset
 
If that's the case it could've been cheaper with a helicopter depending on weight. Been there before.

If its just a few units, it almost seems cheaper to haul the parts in an construct them in place!
 
Company slogan "We make cable, not scence!" Wouldn't surprise me if chopper was cheaper.

I used to work for a custom AHU manufacturer. We had several units that were going in places we couldn't fit a whole unit. We would build knockdown units that we built in the shop and then completely took them apart and rebuilt them in the field.
