What kind of Animal left this poop. Its in my side yard and it drives my dog nuts at night. Doesn't look like deer and I am no hunter. Plus why would I pass up an opportunity to post poop. :D

theres no taper, so its not a dog or a fox. it may be a skunk, but looks a little big for that.

no signs of hair, so its not much of a meat eater, that eliminates big cats.

kinda small for a bear. unless its a cub..but a cub wouldnt be travelling by itself and an adult bear is heavy enough you should see foot prints in some of the damp dirt so we can probably eliminate that.

my guess....its a bum who eats a lot of beans and bread given the uncompacted and air pocketed nature of it. also..theres no sign of toilet paper...so dont shake anyones hands till you figure it out!

^^^^LOL!:lol::lol::lol:

most black bears are already hibernating at this point (they begin usually early October), so I doubt its that.

Where? In NC? I have seen bear from Ashe county to Hyde county still up and active in December/January. A lot of bears in this part of the world never go into a true hibernation as bears do in much colder climates.
