Couple of us going to take the antiques out for a trail ride , thinking about going through hurrican creek and around harmens den. Anybody that wants to go is more than welcome , its goin be me in my 77 scout II and another guy in his 73 commando. Haven't really set a date thinking about the last sat. In January...

There's not a lot of trails. Maybe a half days ride. I wouldn't come from goldsboro for it. Maybe we could do one at uwharrie in the in the spring.

Its a good ride, def post a date and time you are going. I work on Saturdays but could do a Sunday ride if you guys choose to do so.

I haven't been but I heard of stock rangers that have been through it. Theres little play things but no place to tow a buggy to. DD friendly.

I ride Hurricane Creek all the time if you go in off I40 its about six miles to the top of the mountain.......A stocker can do it but tires 31 and under will drag some of the rocks so i would recomend a skid plate it is a nice relaxing ride.

i just have a small xj...4.5" and 33's...so it sounds like it'd be a fun and easy ride for the gf and myself

I do it all the time in a stock Trooper on 31s. I have done everything there & not been stuck yet......

Trip is still on for the 29th anyone that wants to ride is welcome to join us ... thinking about after hurricane creek riding back through 12 mile into catalooche back to the interstate ... plan on meeting at the pilot truck stop off of exit 24 on I.40 at 9 a.m. if that works for everyone ...
