I like restaurants....

The company I work for used to do kitchen hood cleaning years ago and the horror stories and pictures from behind the scenes are down right terrifying.
 
We were hired to evaluate a seafood restaurant in Statesville. We went at 8:30 a.m. and we're let in the back in the kitchen. There were at least 20 vats of grease back there, all cold and coagulated but no Tops on the Vats. I started noticing little black specks all over the tops of the grease which turned out to be flies. Half an hour after we were there the kitchen help started arriving and turning on the grease. I did not see them clean the Flies off. Thankfully the health department inspection failed and they were forced to build a new restaurant and condemn the old one
 
My dad was in the commercial refrigeration business and there were places he would not eat. One was a Chili's where he watched the manager bust up the ice in the ice bin with his crutch...
