Jim and I took my wifes sammi down to the playground to watch a few friends who were trying out their niewly built rigs late last week. I wasn't able to just sit and watch I had to get in on some of the action, in the process I broke most of the teeth of the pinion in the rear axle (a yota axle isn't a d60). We towed it a mile or so down the street to my inlaws and left it in the barn. She didn't seem to mind too much when I told her about it later.
Yesterday she left work a little early, went to her parents and took the rear axle apart. I called her when she was in the middle of doing the job and she sounded just like me on the phone when I'm wrenching on something, very short and to the point wanting off the phone. She didn't ask me for pointers, advice, nothing. About an hour or so later she return home with the 3rd member in a bucket and she went ahead and changed the oil in her WJ while she was there.I asked repeatedly if her father helped or did it or what, he called me and said all he did was show her where the tools were. Wow, I was pretty shocked.

Married to you, and you expect her to be surprised or shocked at carnage? Surprised she took it apart? Pahhlezzz

Verrrry nice...

I think my wife is awesome because she hasn't asked how much I've spent on the rockwell project, despite boxes coming in like crazy...

Next up is to get her to start working on her own car... baby steps...

That aint shit. Send a video of her in a bikini all greasy doing this job you speak of. Then I'll be impressed.

Don't sell your self short.

If you can get her to do that, imagine what she could do in 10 yrs.

You got it made.

I don't like you anymore either.

You're spoiled Greg and I'm sure you know it. I'm still trying to figure out how to get Melissa to pack my bags and get our junk together for trips! Congrats on a good woman:beer:
