Jim and I took my wifes sammi down to the playground to watch a few friends who were trying out their niewly built rigs late last week. I wasn't able to just sit and watch I had to get in on some of the action, in the process I broke most of the teeth of the pinion in the rear axle (a yota axle isn't a d60). We towed it a mile or so down the street to my inlaws and left it in the barn. She didn't seem to mind too much when I told her about it later.
Yesterday she left work a little early, went to her parents and took the rear axle apart. I called her when she was in the middle of doing the job and she sounded just like me on the phone when I'm wrenching on something, very short and to the point wanting off the phone. She didn't ask me for pointers, advice, nothing. About an hour or so later she return home with the 3rd member in a bucket and she went ahead and changed the oil in her WJ while she was there.I asked repeatedly if her father helped or did it or what, he called me and said all he did was show her where the tools were. Wow, I was pretty shocked.
