I don't need a trailer.........mainly because I've only got the durango as a tow vehicle (9500 lb towing capacity) and it's the wifes, so the chances of me getting to drive it.....well....lets just say I have a better shot at getting approval to have a 3-some with 2 penthouse pets then prying the HEMI from her

And I'm not building a trail only rig

But last night I stripped the CJ to nothing but tires and tub and need to take it 7 miles up the road to the sandblaster.

Then back home

Then when it's prepped, 4 miles up the road to the paint booth

Then home

Then a few weeks later 9 miles to the muffler shop

You get the idea

I personally don't want to rent a Uhaul dolly every time. What I'd rather do is "rent one" for a few weeks from someone who has one, that don't want to sell it (or hell if it's cheap enough, YES sell it) but wouldn't mind it being gone from their estate for a little bit

Anybody have any leads?

Tow bar? install some tow shackels to the front springs ( M.O.R.E. I think) and drag it down the road at will.

as far as you say you are going, shouldn't change anything VS tow dolly.

Just leave small rollers on it till it is ready to power itself down the road.

just an idea
