Was in Southern Pines/Pinehurst yesterday. I was sitting at red light on Midland, where Pee Dee/Pennsylvania crosses. Truck drives by. Late model Ram ("RAM" on the grill so iirc, 2019 plus). Dark gray metallic. Regular cab, short bed, 4x4, dually. Not an option on the RAM website. Wife's car, or I could have gotten a frame grab off the dashcam.

Super special secret factory order, or a one-off chop and swap??

@skyhighZJ -- have you seen it around town? It was not on a main road, so might be a local?

I haven’t but I’ll definitely keep my eyes peeled and report any future sitings (hopefully a pic too)

As an owner of a short bed (4 door) dually that sounds absolutely

I do agree...but it looked really cool. Useless, but cool.

My current f250 is a short bed. Hated it since day 2, when I went to lowes to pick up a screen door. Found I couldn't shut the tailgate.

Did it have the little flat fenders? If so, doesn't seem like it would be that hard to take a SRW and make it a dually. Just swap axle and add flyer small flares.

There is a Chevy just like that at the dealership on Bragg boulevard

I feel like it was definitely something somebody made. I've never seen a manufacturer make a reg cab short bed ¾ or 1 ton right out of the factory, especially not in DRW form. I also wouldn't want one. I see the guys in the Duramax world always making rcsb SRW trucks and they all say "oh man, it tows great!" I'd greatly prefer the extra 2 feet of a long bed if I throw a trailer behind it. I can only see a "tail wagging the dog" scenario (with any kind of substantial weight) in my mind when I think of it.

Dodge at least definitely made them. And yeah it would tow like a k5 blazer with air lift shocks.

All of them I've seen have been cut or converted after they left the factory. I can't find any definitive proof that they every rolled off the assembly lines like that.
