IKEA - Anti Gun

I was told (correct me if I'm wrong) but in order for that to stand up. That same sign has to be posted on every entry door into the building. I know that at a mall the main entrance may have a sign, but the block stores (JCP, Belk, etc) usually don't. So carry away. Also, like said above unless they're gonna frisk you at the door, nobody should know your carrying but you.

Dang!!!... I feel like I painted myself into a corner here!

Don you have an accord?
John, this went over the top... I have no clue what the joke is. Remember, I'm not from Raleigh, and I am also getting up in years.

Just so we're clear - are you mad that they have that policy, or that you wasted you time and gas?

Both, but I admit it was my fault for not knowing their policy ahead of time. I'm usually up on this stuff, but completely missed this one.

The intent of the original post was mainly to warn others about IKEA policy. I had no previous knowledge of their policies. My fault.

In caption, I simply will not (willingly) patronize an anti-2nd Amendment establishment. If my gun isn't welcome, then my wallet isn't either.

Other than maybe bars and nightclubs, I would still like to know about all those "off-limits" places in Rowan and Cabarrus Counties.

I hope the paint was dry and I didn't leave any tracks behind!

I think it would be a good dose of "their own medicine" for someone to create a website where businesses can register as being "off-limits" to guns. If it were done in a friendly way and not derogatory to them, businesses that have put the sign on the door will gladly register that they are "safe, gun-free zones" (insert raging sarcasm where necessary). If done in an objective "matter of fact" way, those who feel that they would be safer going to those gun-free zones would employ the list to know where to shop and those that do not with to spend their money at those same establishments would use the list as a no-fly zone. The liberals are always screaming about wanting to register gun owners, lets turn it around and use a registration process for a win-win.
