you could get the same miles out of a well maintained (or not so much) jeep 4.0 as a 22re/22r but with more power...xj's have a unibody, definitely not as strong and as easy to work with then a frame...xj axles break whats new? but walk into a junkyard and see if there's not 3 or more sitting there waiting for parts to be striped off of it for cheap.

The thing about a jeep is by the time you're done with it, it isn't a jeep anymore. The only thing jeep left is the body and vin number.

im rocking a 4.0/aw4/231 on 46 claws...no breakage i consider it still a cherokee
