Interco mega SX stickies

Everything about those tire/wheel sizes makes me think they’re pandering to the street truck/SEMA crowd.
Except Sticky Compound...

Im with you...if you are making a poser tire why mmake it a sticky..save the cash on harder cheaper rubber

The depth of the tread being nearly 2", I am thinking the tread spacing isn't as close as it appears. I'd like to see one up close, or, at least a pic or five to give reference to the tread spacing.
Specs would also be nice, actual width, and weight. I can see Rockwell axles going up in price. And a flood of Dana 80's and 14 bolt stuff hitting the market.

I saw a better picture of the 40" tread back in August, it looks pretty open and really deep. They are not going to be DOT as best I can remember.

I've always thought a 40" LTB in sticky would be the shiznit.... This just seems like they are pandering to the rock bouncing crowd.

When I asked Scott goforth about the the 40x17 he said he had seen it in person and it was not a true 17 wide but there thought was to get as much contact patch as possible

I wonder if it is actually 40"

Interco confirmed a sticky 40" sx was coming too....
Pretty sure all of the "mega sx" tires are sticky compound. But it is a different compound than the 43" SX.

get a nitto, toyo, cooper, maxxis, etc.
Or.....

It looks pretty wide in this pic..... Unless it's nowhere near 40" tall

As a result of this thread I saw on interco's socials that they released a 36x12.50/17 SX radial, so thanks for that.

Edit, that’s gotta be one heavy SOB. It’s gonna be shitting on axle shafts left and right

Next to a 43..... supposedly 220lbs a tire according to the comments on the FB post.

makes that axle look dinky and so way underrated to wear that tire.. I'd dare say that they are suitable for Rockwell's only... Unless you like to change axle shafts.

Oh it’s gonna put RCV big Bells to the damn test with their unlimited tire size and horse power warranty. 1 tons and 35 spline shafts won’t last, definitely dana 80 or Rockwell stuff with 40 spline or more.
