Invest in eye protection!

I saw this come across and thought of this thread.

Then I saw the replacement lenses were $17.99 so decided I'd keep my 3m one. Lenses there are $9.99.

I took a hit this weekend. Was removing my daughters skid plate from her 99 Cherokee. It was wet from having sat outside and when I hit the impact it slung a bunch of junk in my eye. To say I was shocked was an understatement as I had my glasses on. Luckily my wife was able to get the bulk of it out of my eye with a Q-tip. I followed up with an irrogation of salt water and was damn lucky. I will be wearing a full face shield from here on out.

Mine was when I first got my heep and was putting on the 3.5 inch Superlift soft springs. Had mask, glasses, bandana and hat on. No crap in face/eyes while on back grinding. No crap in face/eyes when out from under heep.
Taking off safety gear a piece of metal falls into eye..... 6 hours in ER, two saline bags run through my eye, and an eye patch for a couple days......
