i found one that has a 3 speed tranny and a straight six, it runs but has not title.. dana 30 front dana 44 rear, kinda rusty but still sturdy i figured it would be a good trail ride or a to turn into a mud buggy

. Just kidding. Your right though to each their own. Since I started wheeling I've wanted to link and go one tons but I'm not as excited to do that after some experience on the trail. Yes there are some obsticles that get a little hairy and some that the short wheel base cannot attempt(Very few) but at the same time I have walked across/up many obsticles that the one toned/ linked vehicle had to pull rope on. So each have their advantages. For a budget build to just have good clean fun with the $500 CJ5 is a great deal if it runs and drives.
