Okay here’s the deal. A group of people plan a get together for fellowship and dinner. Plan is for everyone to bring their pizza of choice for themselves and their families. That being said bring what you like and plan to eat. So here I go and get what I think is some of the best pizza I’ve ever had in my chosen flavor. Others show up with crappy Little Caesar’s, pizza slut, and whatever other crappy chain pizza there is. So the cheap ass people that have $6-$10 in their pizza decide they want to go after my $25+ pizza. I have a feeling they must think I’m a liberal or something. What say y’all?

Was it expected to be everyone eats their own pizza or a potluck of pizza?

That's a whole lotta nope...they had the opportunity to get what they wanted. But I also won't share my food with my wife when it arrives to the table, I'll buy her additional food, but this one is mine and perfectly proportioned for what I wanted.

It’s wrong, the only exception is there’s always that one guy that shows up late without anything hell its a wander he even showed up at all does he even know where he is?

I happen to like anchovies, but rarely eat them for social reasons and the fact that almost no one offers them as a pizza topping anymore (I think everyone hates anchovies). This is one of those occasions where I would have got anchovies.

The place I like has anchovies but they aren’t my favorite.

Just wanted to know if my way of thinking was wrong because they sure acted like I was an asshole for letting the cheap bitches have it for thinking they were gonna eat mine.

OK, I'll say it.
Good lord man, lighten up.
If the point of this thing is communion with friends, to have a good time sharing with one another - especially if there is some assumption it is a potluck thing - then unclennch your butt cheaks a little, be friendly, and share.
We're talking about A $10 difference in pizza. That's like $1.50 a slice. I mean, come on, is that really worth getting all upity about? This isn't a $100 you're asking to split up.

Now I wouldn't be eager to give enough away so much of my good stuff that I wouldn't get a satisfying meal myself, and if it's more a "lets do thsi activity, and oh yeah bring your own food so nobody has to provide for anyone" - assumed fend-for-yourself - then I can see the ire.

Maybe see it as an opportunity to show somebody else what the "vlaue' of a good pizza really is? Some folks have never bothered to try non-cheapo and just don't know.

This is fun, considering my son's 6th birthday is tomorrow, start it at 3pm, I made a cake (lots of vitamin S, 4 tubs of frosting), not serving any "real" food,
I'll be eating tacos outside next to the beer cooler!

Never said we were friends. Campground get together that there’s only a few people that I can stand to be around more than about 15 minutes a month.

Well Mr Rock er feller a 25 cent gallon zip lock would have solved your problem. If you were liberal you would have been giving out their pizza. This is just another reason I don't participate in such activities no more than I have to.There's a bakery close to us that makes some awesome food and Tonya always get stuff from them for our Holiday meals.Turkey gravy, yeast rolls, cranberry salad and pee can pie is her usual order and its $40 ish.We always have the KFC gravy, brown and serve rolls, grocery store thaw and serve desert that others brought left and they're licking the bowl the stuff we bought came in.

Eh I'd share but make sure to grab what I wanted of my pizza first trip to the food table.. I understand being irked over quality, but there again, if that's what they could get and bring, there's that. Nothing I'd lose sleep over.. but I'm with @Fabrik8 , if there's a topping no one likes that you do, load that pizza heavy with it and bring it! I like dogorno, domino, hunt bro, but not so much on house brand, the sauce sucks, and they skimp on cheese & topping. I'm fortunate to have a convenience store below the shop that does hunt pizza - any toppings, extra cheese, $12. Dang good eats. Burn the roof your mouth hot fresh too, even though the base pizza is frozen.

This thread has me craving Mellow Mushroom pizza, among a few other styles and places I love.

I too hate Dominoes, PJ and others. They are certainly edible and satisfy my hunger but are by no means “good pizza”

If you can stand me for more than 15 minutes, I’ll ride up and let you buy me some $25 pizza!

I'll argue dominoes is good. As well as dogorno. Not sure on pj, none close to me. Domino always hot and still yummy when I get it. "Good" pizza is relative. That $12 pizza at the store below my shop is sure yummy, ever though it's a frozen base cheese pizza. I won't say the "local" brick pizza place is that much better even though they higher price. Better than store brand? Hell yes. Maybe I'm not as picky as y'all then.
This pizza talk reminded me if I sell over 500 in advance parts on a Friday, they owe me a pizza... That means they owe me a few...

I bet you don't give out candy to the kids that don't live in your neighborhood at Halloween :huggy:
