Nice to hear your gonna have more time for yourself. Looks like I got that SAS just in time. You planning on moving out of Meck county and further up 85, closer to work?

While we definitely want to get out of Meck County (especially the city of Charlotte) "work" for Andy is going to be in Pineville, so going up 85 would technically make his commute farther. Right now we live in University City, and since I teach & take classes at UNCC, I'd like to stay in that area.
Besides, since part of the point of scaling back the shop is to reduce his shop-related stresses, it's probably best if we maintain some physical distance between him and the new shop. Maybe entice/force him into spending some time at home with the wifey :D

Hey everyone, I just saw Andy at his new gig,out at Fab Fours. Complete with office, a/c, and if i remember right...a button up shirt!! His beard is doing well, but i didnt see any midgets or hear any boinking music!
Greg Higgs at Fab Fours just made one heck of a great prize donation to CTBs Fun Caravan @ Uwharrie. A 650$ TJ bumper!
Come win it!
Anyways, I just wanted to say thank you to Andy for getting me in the door.
Also...(to Andy) Thanks for showing me how to get through Charlotte traffic....and letting me draft off you!:driver:

now i am going to have to learn to do this stuff myself.. good work as always andy... ill have to PM you to pick up that part i ordered from you, as i wont even have my truck back for a long time.

Well damn, there goes the only thing people on this site seemed to agree on: where to go for 4x4 work.

But anyways congrats Andy on the new job and thanks for getting those control arms out to me so quickly.

The best place to get 4x4 parts is closing down right when I was going to get a new jeep and all the parts for it (dammit). I don't know you or anything or ever been to the shop, but everyone on here speaks highly of you. So, congrats at the new venture. Now where do I get to go for all my 4x4 needs, since I don't want to pay shipping on the internet, any suggestions?

Ya need to read what Andy wrote.

He will still be doing some work, and he will still be selling parts, just as he has in the past.

So, nothing to fear, you will still be able to get the same deals as before, if not better(since his over head won't be so high!)

Exactly what Chip said. Parts are very easy for me to still take care of. I will have daily pick-up for you out of area guys and with my drive from University to Pineville, plenty of places to meet and drop off parts if needed.

Please let me know if there is anything parts wise I can get you. Labor will be on a different schedule but we will see how that goes once we get settled into the new place.

Thanks again for all the support you guys/girls have given us and we hope we can still help you out in the future.

Thanks
Andy

Best of luck to Andy:beer: I hope the grass is truly greener

Congratulations, hope it works out better than you hope. And a friend once told me "work to live, don't live to work". Makes you're quality of life better.

So, living near University, working in Pineville and a side shop in Salisbury? Is that correct? Fab Fours is those big bumpers and such right? Should be a booming business with the popularity of trucks right now!
