I was just listening to a thing on the radio where somebody was claiming that police are making the kung flu spread worse by corralling people into tight groups as protesters, and the inevitable boom in cases will thus be all their fault.

So, it's still a pretty useful tool for the media to mix into the blame-game buckshot mix

(never mind that the fault could be just as much w/ the infected person being out in a crowd)
 
much like gun ownership, you can't do hardly anything LEGALLY yet you can assemble all day long to burn down buildings and chuck conveniently placed bricks at cops as a tight crowd
 
Since Cooper was filmed marching with the protesters in Raleigh last night with no mask on does that mean we can skip phase 3 and just open everything up like before now, or does the coronavirus protection only apply to the working folks and not protesters. I'm confused.
 
If there's not a significant increase in corona cases over the next 2 weeks, someone is gonna have some splainin to do and/or crow to eat. But if there is an increase...think of all the rioters and looters that'll be off the street...all .4% of them. Trump be playin 4D chess while the rest of us are playing checkers.

Corona is still doing it's thing, & Still rising in NC, & 16 other states. Naturally, testing is increasing, which will show more Positive cases. But doesn't really tell how may require Hospital, or just recover, or Asymptomatic. Seems per testing, the numbers keep rising, but admittance to a Hospital, is decreasing.
 
The number of “sick as shit” transports seems to be increasing in Mecklenburg county. But that is anecdotal water cooler talk.
 
The so called 'expert' opinions are all over the place on this thing.

"There is going to be a second wave"

"The vaccine, if it works, might only work for a year"

"A vaccine will be available the the end of the year"

"A vaccine will take 18 months to create"

"The markets will continue higher"

"The markets will revisit their lows from March 23rd"

"GDP will drop 50% in the second quarter"

"The economy will reopen and rebound in the third quarter"

"The economy will not recover until late 2021 or possible later"

Yep, but the ones that ARE right will get to gloat, maybe sell a book, and be the first ones listened to next time -- when they'll then be in the 99% wrong group.
