We welcomed our first addition to our family into the world last night. Sweet little Willow Brooke Foust was born at 9:11 pm on October 10, 2018. A staggering 8 lbs 14.5 oz and 20 inches head to toe. She is perfect in every way and I couldn’t be happier to have her here with us. Please wish us luck because we have absolutely no clue what we are doing. And yes, she was trying to nurse on me while we were having our first skin to skin time lol.

BTW, I've been latched onto also.. feels odd but keeps them quiet till Mommy is ready lol! Might be difficult to explain the mark she leaves that it's from her and not some one else.
Experience is a hard teacher but the best and most rewarding. Oh and learn all you can from others mistakes along the way.

wow. What a time! Congratulations! Enjoy these times! Being a dad now for almost 5 months now, I cannot believe how much my little girl has grown and how much she has changed. Don't worry about not knowing what to do, When my little girl was born, I had held a baby maybe 5 times in my life and that was only until they started crying or doing something weird. It comes naturally.
Congrats again, you are in for one wild ride and I mean that in the best possible way.
to me, being a dad is 99% awesome and 1% wish I smoked and had a bar full of liquor.
