[Jan 17, 2014] "THE FLATS 4X4 PARK" OPEN RIDE JAN.18th (MARION NC)

Great ride guys! Thanks for having us! I tagged along with the East coast guys, since my junk is in pieces, never a dull moment!

Awesome time. Can't wait til the next one... Bounty Hill is still nasty to say the least...

Had a great time as always, despite my horrible lack of power and extreme lack of traction lol. All I broke was the zip tie that holds my radio in. Oh yea...and punched a hole in the side of my motor. It'll probably buff out tho

Motor has been rattling for almost two years now. Yesterday it was knocking pretty bad, so end of the day came, it was still alive (somehow) so we decided to remedy that.

Big thanks for the open ride!

Holy crap what an awesome day we had. Wheeled almost every trail and some of them twice. Luckily had to pull cable only once on the rock pile at Tank trap. Seems there was alot of carnage. I feel lucky only breaking a fan blade and having a flat tire.

Still meeting some killer people. If the group I was riding in decided to go home or was to broke to repair all I had to do was jump in a group and say where we going next and bam I was part of that group for a while.

Had some good chili for lunch too. Thanks Lisa!!

Never was a dull moment yesterday.

Only pics I've got was some poser pics my buddy took of me and my son. Mason loves this stuff more everytime we go.

If anyone found a Northwest Fab Dana 60 35 spline drive flange between the top of Trail 5 and Stihl Hill, please let me know!

Had a blast as always! Like usual, this place kicked my tail and left me wanted to come back for more. Wasn't off the trailer 10 minutes and broke my new rear drive shaft. Walked around trying to find someone with a welder but the only thing I could find was some stick rods. After a little googling and found a video on how to weld with two batteries. Pulled the batteries out of a buddies tow rig, hooked some jumper cables up and another buddy when to town. Held all day till I lost a drive flange in the front. Looking forward to the next one!

I hate that happened, but there is a reason that guy doesn't work for me anymore and it isn't because he does good work. I hope you make him fix that abortion he made for you.

Thanks for the compliments guys, Mars fab and M&M offload deserve the large majority of credit for getting it going. I also owe a big public thank you to all my friends that helped along the way, you know who you are

Only one I have right now. If anyone got any pics or videos of it on the trails I'd love to see them.

This is a good looking rig, I remember gawking over it as soon as I pulled in.

Thanks to the Rock Corps for hosting this, enjoyed it as always. A little cold, and a little slick, but still had a great time.
