what is planned is an install of a rear tube frame... 1/4 elliptical rear suspension with triangulated 4 link...

i got about as far as i could today on the jeep itself.. cut out some of flooring so i could get the "B" pillar in.. which i have to install first, since everything is going to be based off of it.. also put the bender together.. i am waiting on some drop anchors so i can attach it to the driveway... and start bending up the cage...

the jeep as i started today..

I'm glad your back to the job bro!
Beside, everyone's tired of hearing my "I was one of the last to ride in the Pumpkin... back at DR '02"!
Get some!

I don't want to see practice bends:(

I wanna see bends that are used on that Jeep:smokin:

stay with it and have a few  s while you are bending, it makes for a fun time:D

redid the both seat mounts and used some stock jeep sliders for both of them... we cut the rear bottom side bar out and lowered it 1.5" to get the seats to tilt back some... instead of building it into the mounts, my upper 2 links will mount off of that bar somehow.. haven't come up with something i liked yet.. waiting on getting the 14b together and wheels on it for some measurements.. put the dash bar in.. front "A" and some of the harness tabs are in.. and also picked up the 14 bolt carrier i needed... just have to weld it up.. and then cut the plate for the bottom of the axle... also got a new tool box... well new to me.. its the big gray one.. i have my 5 little boxes all in that one now.. so i was messing with that and getting the place picked up a little
here are some pics..

well tonight we got the front part of the cage done.. i am waiting on either fixing the plasma cutter at work.. or getting some tanks for my torch at home to be able to cut some .5" steel for the bottom of my 14 bolt.. so i can set the gears up in that and get under the jeep so i can make the 4 links.. hopefully this weekend i will have under the heep and starting on the 4 link suspension...
here are some pics of the completed cage..

Looking good. Have you given any thought to clocking up the TC?

DK

yep.. should slide out with some air out of the tires..

and i tried the d300 clocked.. but it interfered with the tranny... TF727... so i unclocked it to have clearance for the front drive shaft... it will still be a flat skid plate even with the bottom of the frame...

started on the 4 link yesterday... had to move the spring mounts.. and i actually got to fab up one of the lowers.... it only took 1.5 hours to make one cut on it with the chop saw... mmm.. must come up with a more efficient way...
