Finally got me an mc2100 carb but its gonna need rebuilding as soon as i get it. Is the carquest carb rebuild kit sufficient?
It should be fine, they may want to read the bowl tag to be sure they have the right kit. Short of that you would need to know exactly what vehicle it came from. Also these kits almost always come with a 7.5HG. power valve. Mine required an 8.5HG PV. On you tube I found the Holley Power valve video. It explains how to figure out which one you will need. MC2100 uses a Holley PV btw.Take CYJKrawlers advice, it's good advice. Finally got me an mc2100 carb but its gonna need rebuilding as soon as i get it. Is the carquest carb rebuild kit sufficient?

Everything works great on the new mc2100 carb so far and the nutter bypass works also. Thanks to all you guys who helped me out. Anyone who reads this thread or has similar problems definetly go with the mc2100 carb with the 1.08v only and youll be fine.![]()
