Jeep to expand production to meet demand

Who the fawk is buying these vehicles?? Are they on the 84 month payment plan?
I wanna to know the rate of buyers remorse that comes along after a couple of years of makin that big payment. After the new wears of its just another damned ol jeep.

I've had mine 2 years, I only have remorse 1 week a month hehe

So basically even though the prices have gotten ridiculous, demand is keeping up, so they are justified in continuing to jack the price. Great.

Before I committed to a 84-120 month payment at $700+ a month, I would lease it. Atleast that way the remorse would stop after a few years, or you would have something new again. And there is no way I'm taking a vehicle offroad that I am paying that much for the next decade for.

I may be slightly out of touch here, but if you bought something that expensive wouldn't you be putting a pretty sizable down payment on it instead of financing the entire sale price...? Are there actually people buying Jeeps for $700/month...? If I'm paying that much per month for a vehicle, it sure isn't going to be a Jeep.

One day in fayetteville and you could see the enormous amount of brand new jacked up trucks and Jeeps rolling around, usually with a 19-29yr old driver.

Now maybe some of these men got a nice re-inlistment bonus, or saved some of that good tax free desert monies... but surely there are plenty in debt up to their flat bill hats.

No there trading in that neg equity diesel truck they bought new 6 months ago.Very poor money management skills is in part what led up to the disaster in 08 and it don't appear anybody learned from it or they have very short memories

Years go we went to one of those free w/e condo things in MB and sat thru the whole sales pitch and at the end they offered installment payment for the down payment!!! You had up to 16 months to pay off the down payment.

the smart ones likely are. But I know of some ppl with $850+/month truck payments for atleast 84 months if not 100-120.

That's still not as bad a 5+ years on a UTV.

Holy shit.... That gives new meaning to the phrase "upside down".... That's like $71k+ if its 84 months.... Or $85k+ at 100 months....

So at 84 months you could have bought a new Challenger Hellcat plus an extra $10k worth of options.

Or at 100 months you could have bought a new Viper SRT.

That just makes me nauseous. You could have had a Viper, but you bought this shitty truck instead.

They just see that monthly payment they can afford not how long it'll last

I don't see the need to pay more than 350, 400 tops, per month on a vehicle. I will go out to 72 months on a honda or toyota, nothing else lasts that long.

I don't guess I will ever buy another new vehicle. Should've kept the 95 samurai I bought when I was 18. $8900, brand new. Had it 6 months, got a ticket, had to get rid of it because insurance skyrocketed.

A guy that I work with is paying $1025.00 a month for 84 months for a 2016 F250 that will never haul or tow a damn thing. And he says it costs to much to eat out for lunch. Can we say dumbass!

:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

HOOOLEEEEE FUUUUUCK

Hell if they warranty the vehicle the whole term. Like none of that makes any sense at all

He probably traded in something he still owed on.Somehow people think that balance disappears when they trade it in.I know a couple who trade every year, they say there not worried about payin it off as long as they can afford the monthly payment.

Traded a 2014 Raptor that his payment was around $900 a month. If I had known he would take $33000 trade in for the Raptor it would be in my driveway now. He was only upside down by about $7000 he said. As I said before DUMBASS!!!
