johnston co folks....

Sunday is a no go for me since I will be traveling back from central NY that day. While I would like to have it on the 29th, if the 28th works for the majority, then I will just do my best to make the next one.

I agree. earlier in the day would be great.

It would be daylight...and it wouldnt be so much of an issue with my kids (a 5yo and a 8 month old).

Can anybody get me an address for the meeting spot. IDK anything in joco/selma or could I maybe meet up with someone from Raleigh? Mike? If anyones interested PM me and we can possibly coordinate it.

We're contemplating going back up to Callalantee for the NC4X4 run but most likely we will be at the meet and greet instead. You coming up, driving Nellie (AKA: Tugger) or the TJ?

Len,I'll probably drive Nellie up once I can get her cleaned up.UNF was a mess last saturday and she is orange instead of olive drab.Not that far of a drive concidering I've driven her to Fayetteville and Greenville numerous times.Hell,I might even pull the M416 also.

URE was pretty sloppy the weekend before too. One of our Christmas engagements was canceled so we went there for the weekend instead. All that extra mud made the Banks header swap real nice and easy though.:lol:

I had it out for a ride and popped a coolant hose and lost compression on all but 2 cylinders. Hoping for a head gasket I took it apart and found 2 cracked heads and a cam with 2 chipped lobes.

Sucks that I have to find a motor now and spend money around Christmas but what are you going to do.
