And the Appalachian Campus Police are deputized as Boone PD Officers so they CAN pull you anywhere around town if they see the need to.

God dont you just love boone cops. Kidding of course, I def. got a ticket for 51 in a 35 where it drops to 35 on 105 just before the water wheel. answering phone rather than looking at signs. I had never even been pulled over in my almost 6 years of driving before that. Cop at least wasnt a dick though.

What gets me though is...why even bother pulling me over if your just gonna give me a warning violation, considering I didnt even do anything.

I have only been here for a year. I have been pulled 4 times with a total of 4 tickets on 3 different occations. I got the same one...running a red light and speeding. I was even turning right but didnt yeild. that plus 3 other speeding tickets. I just accept it and go on. It always seems to happen right before or after I order parts for my rig. I never get pulled back home. Just get a good lawyer and go that class for $50. It drops the ticket down and you just pay it off with no points on insurance and no lawyer.

odd, they havent fucked with me at all; im driving a dented, beat up, cut up 89 toyota thats missing marker lights, has violent death wobble under 45, speedo dosent work (and i know im speeding in all those 35 and 25 zones), and i dont have doors or sideview mirrors. guess its cause i dont have a jeep

Nope, I've got a big janky lifted XJ with chopped fenders and a general raw look. Hole in the muffler and no reverse lights. Hasn't had an NC inspection sticker since I've lived here ('03). Never been so much as stopped by the campus cops. Maybe its because I never speed, even though my speedo is uncorrected for my 33s... This includes 2 years of driving with expired out of state plates.

I havn't been pulled in boone. I have been stopped at gun point because they thought I had just robbed someone at knife point, and had my dorm searched, but never pulled or looked at.
