Just curious

I dont think they are similar to struts.
We sell coilovers, air shocks, bumpstops and bypass shocks. they all have a different purpose. Air shocks are not meant for racing, they get hot too fast and fade very quickly. Air shocks work great for crawling, light weight and easy to adjust.
I have never used a strut so i cant comment on how they work.
It all depends on your vehicle and what you are going to use it for.

Thanks for the honesty. You could have shot us all a line of bull but it's nice to know you won't make something up just to sell a couple more units.

I didn't think there was any similarities. The strut has more internal features than a standard air shock but I wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something. Also, I'm not looking to race just have a comfy ride for my back.

Coilovers will give you a better ride and more adjustability. And still be less than $400 per corner.

yeah but you still have to get the math right. if you screw up your calcs then you'll end up paying more for different springs. I like your options but I also like the all in one package.

That is a bit different. Didnt notice that before. While its still not usa at least they aren't made by 7 fingered 8year olds.

Failing to see the issue here.
Ever seen the terrain in Thailand? Thats a country where shocks are seriously used. Personally I believe that any company that has a long reputation of building shocks that hold up for that market probably knows what they are doing.
