Justice for Bella

If the dog had me cornered, yeah I would probably shoot. But Im not going to shoot a dog just because I happen to have a weapon strapped to my side and a badge on my chest giving me the illusion that I am bigger and better than everything else that walks this earth.

Just on a side note, I worked as a repo man for a little bit and for a gas company for a bit as a delivery driver, I have 12 different dog bite scars, 9 are from labs, two are from hounds, and one was a cocker spaniel. Although I've encountered literally thousands of pit bulls in thier yard, without the owners, and occasionally with the owner trying to get the dog to bite me, I've never had even a close call with a bull breed.

And my BS flag is going off...Labs are known, even characterize by a calm, docile temperment...much like Pits though lots of things get called labs that are not. If you have been bit 9 times by true labs then you my friend are the problem.

Most breeds are calm and docile until you're the stranger in thier yard taking thier owners car. I've owned labs, and they are great dogs, but my brothers lab is even more protective over his "territory" than my pits are. Call bs if you wish, but I was there, I seen it with my own two eyes...

As usual I'll probably come across as an ass.....but.... everyone seems concerned with "Bella's" rights and the rights of her owners. What about the rights of the elderly woman who should have the RIGHT to enjoy her property without fear of someone else's animal injuring her or her grandchild? What about the County's Right to assist the elderly woman in her plight? While I hate to see a family lose a pet and in such a violent manner to boot, the bottom line is if you love your pet it is YOUR responsibility to make sure..absolutely positive that your animal stays on your property. If you love it so much don't leave it alone to get itself in trouble. It works with teenagers and it works with animals too!
