Kids age at URE

I had my son at Tellico when he was about 4. Another bud had a young son so we watched each other's kid when we hit hard stuff. We went down Thursday and came back Sunday and camped at a campground in town. I have pics somewhere but can't find them right now. Basically once he was potty trained he was with me everywhere I went except the Dixie Run. You just have to be very alert of where they are at all times and don't let them wear camo, you cannot see them when they're 20' away!

2+ , if they're sitting upright. That's when I was told they can safety support their head without neck injury. Mine go now(5,7), but start to bitch and complain after a couple of hours.

How old were your kids when you started taking them to uwharrie? I'm trying to figure out how soon I will be able to take my son on a day trip and hit some of the easier trails. He'd be in a car seat in the back of a tj. He loves riding for in the jeep and hitting bumps but don't know if he'd last at uwharrie.
Put it this way, I took a potty training toilet with me and would stop on the trail to continue training.

I took my daughter to ure for the veterans day ride and she's 2 1/2. She had a good time. She loves riding in daddy's jeep.

her first time " in the woods" was that last trip to Uwharrie, we were at group camp for something going on there, took her to "The Vault" she walked in, looked in, looked at me, shook her head and said "Uh Uh" and dragged me back out.
Cant say as i blame her, i never cared for them much myself.
