Kill Devil Hills - must eats?

I don’t have a 5th wheel but when we were camping, we’d always go to Oregon Inlet, the B and C loops are 5th wheel friendly. 15 minutes from Anything though. I also know several folks that rave about the KOA in Hatteras too.

I don’t have a 5th wheel; just a 28’ Lance travel trailer. It’s big enough for me & the wife. Just looking for good campgrounds to hit up. Honeymooned in Salvo back in 2007 in a house that was way too big for me, the Mrs & our boy Curtis (black lab\chow mix) but we had a blast! On the water, full in ground pool, game room & bar, this house was ridiculous. Well, you only get married once - or twice in my case. Looking to explore more out that way.

Tortugas lie....it's not a tourist trap more of a local dive.
Great burgers and their fish tacos are legit.
Cold beers and y'all will feel comfortable there...Good people

The last time I was out that way was in 2007. Boardwok South in Waves has killer local seafood with an Asian-American twist. Mad Crabber in Avon had great local seafood & drinks. Sit at the bar & you’ll get served quicker. If Sally is the bartender, she’s phenomenal. When we were there her husband was the chef. Great drinks, food & desserts!

@sammi_davis help a friend out. He grew up there and recommended some awesome places to me last year.
Tortugas Lie , get there early.

Two Roads Tavern

Chili Peppers (its not mexican)

Johns drive in if its open

Goombays

Those are my go to favorites.

The back side of Jockeys Ridge is a nice secret as well . Look at the map and you will see a back parking lot , go there and explore all the little islands that pop up at high tide.

Biscuits N Porn. They had some good breakfast. Some pretty cool swag too.

Duck Donuts are popular, but they werent worth the wait, IMO.

Take the drive up to Corolla and drive out on the beach to see the horses!!.
