Killed me a mouse last night:

it depends on how your throwing it out. i still think you should use seven dust instead. De is silicone and it's gonna absorb all moisture. it's like using peroxide for cleaning wounds docs dont't use it much anymore. because it kills the good bacteria and the bad= slow ass healing wound. @ least if your gonna use De wait till it starts to cool down Had to see burn spots or dead area's in a freshly seeded yard.
I'll just kill all the bugs in the yard; I'm sick of all of them. I was okay with the crickets ( black and camel ) but now my yard is infested with fleas, fire ants, and mosquitoes. Kids can't go out and play without getting chewed up by something and these poor dogs can't stop scratching. So I'll kill it all so I don't have to deal with it anymore. I'm not worried about the grass or, weeds, as I like to call it. It's the backyard that needs the treatment so if the grass dies then I'll fix it after the fact. I appreciate the concern about the yard I'm just fed up with the bugs. Spiders I can deal with they help kill some of the other bugs.

We cut down a hollow tree years ago and mice scattered everywhere when it hit the ground. Get in the truck to go home, turn on the heater and hear one getting the food processor treatment in the blower fan. Smelled like roasted rat all the way home from Newland.

How big of an area did it cover? I need to do my whole backyard and possibly my front as well.
It did my entire back yard (only 0.25 acre lot) and the foundation of the house spread about 1' out from the wall. Probably have half a bag left.
That company only sells food grade DE and not the stuff with silica in it. The stuff with silica in it is for pools and is dangerous to consume/inhale.
