Land rover discovery soft top.

A costumer of mine brought me a discovery that he rolled over. He already had the top removed and roll cage built. He wanted a top built that was more than just snaps to attach it. So this is what i came up with.

Very nice work. Looks like something from the factory. When my soft top that is no longer made goes completely to rags, can you make me a new one?
 
Yeah. But its not cheap. I had a 105 hrs in that thing.

not sure if that was a compliment, or a bash. but everyone has there own opion.
 
I can't think of anything appealing about a monkey humping a football....but i think the soft top is awesome looking. I'd love to see a pic of the soft top pulled back or removed.
 
I'm curious about how the top attaches to get a good seal. Looks like you have flat channel to pinch it in place? It looks really tight.
 
yeah i made channels that unbolt. its not the fastes to remove but it is water tight. which is what the guy wanted.

i should of took pics with it off. oops.
