the part feeding my brain might be the one that's 100% blocked..

Hell, WE coulda told you that.. :flipoff2: (I know you don't want everyone being all serious all the time)

Just got a call from Chip's wife Leslie. Chip is out of surgery and in recovery and going to be a couple of hours before they can go see him. Doc told her that there was no long term damage to his heart and would make a 100% recovery.

Come on, lets hit Harlan this weekend if your as hard headed as everyone says....LOL....Just picking good, best wishes.

When can I give chip a call? Or possibly come and see you all?
By the way.....Does the hospital have a good cafeteria?
Well Thats important too, right?:shaking:

Let us know, and some of us might carpool to see him.
No rush, and only when the time is right.

I could bring Maycee, but there is probably a policy against young children.
She always has a way of making people smile:)

Chip, I got a couple cold Brews  waitin for ya when you up to ridin' again...They won't last long with this crowd near the cooler...So here's to a Speedy Recovery...But put the wrenches down a while...Take it Easy and Get Some Rest

ps...these guys really not yer friends they just use ya for your tools & chit :flipoff2:

Nahh..we are all truly pullin' for ya...

Talked with Chip this afternoon. Surgery, 5 bypasses, went well and the prognosis is for a full recovery, 6-8 weeks. No damage to the heart muscle which won't heal itself. Chip sounded weak and tired, Leslie said he had been in and out and was dozing but woke up to talk for a minute. Pray for healing of not only the heart but the mind also as something like this can really wear on you mentally. This is a tough blow even for a guy as strong as Chip and he can use all our support, thoughts and prayers.

i know i am a little behind on this. but man that is scarry that happened at tellico, and that you went to the murphy hospital.

glad you are alright, and best wishes on a speedy recovery.

i don't know ya chip but i sure hope the best for ya. i seen your rig at the farm the initial event. take care and recover quickly.

It's very nice e to get on here, and read all the well wishes. I had a really big surprise today. Who walks into my room but Caver Dave. Now I know he had things that brought him this way, but it was great to see one of the gang(off here)
Thanks Dave, meant a lot.

SO if they hold true to their word, I go home in the morning. Some decent sleep for a change. No more being woke up for vitals and so on. I have given a hard time to every one up here at one time or another, but the Hospital is amazing. They
are amazing. The continue to show me love and care.
Will write more once home. fingers too bumbly for this lap top
