Lean-to construction

Got the router sled moved in.

Well I have a bunch of 2” x 12” pine. So I thought I’d try milling it with the chainsaw to 3/4” for siding. I like it. Unfortunately after 2 cuts my 460 decided it didn’t want to stay running.

what are those lower horizontal pieces for? how high off the ground are they?
The 2x4's that I used to get the panel off the ground or the 3/4 x 12 siding? The siding is a few inches up.

So revisited the lean too today. Top 3 boards on the back warped. Pulled them down and tried to square them better. That didn’t work. So today I put a 4x4 in the middle. Used some rough cut 2x6 and A 2x4 at the base.

When I pulled the three top boards yesterday today they were cupped and bowed. So I pulled another 2x12 and made two new ones.
