Let's discuss song lyrics...

Bob Dylan - "Tough Mama"

"Tough mama
Meat shaking on your bones
I'm gonna go down to the river and get some stones
Sister's on the highway with that steel drivin' crew
Papa's in the big house, his working days are through
Tough mama
Can I blow a little smoke on you."

The first verse of this song paints the picture of the " Tough Mama", the other verses of the song tell different stories from her life, and a man's request to her. A lot going on in the song I think. But it is always interesting to hear other peoples interpretation.

"If That Ain't Country" - David Allen Coe

He says his older sister is a first rate whore and dad won't let her come home anymore. OK fine. What about the line after mama keeping her silence? He says his sister left home because dad got violent. Is it because she denied dad after he drank too much Jack Daniel's black? Is this what makes her first rate? Closer kin, deeper in...but maybe not this time.

DAC has a pretty "extensive" catalog of music, alot of which you use to have to order from easyrider or pick up at the local truck stop next to the vintage porn on Beta.

Shooter and Steve Earle both have shows on Sirius/XM and if you listen to them regular enuf you'll find their both pretty liberal.
