Got me wanting to build one like this now.
Here's my '04 2500 Duramax...
I've thought about doing this with a trailer I have much like yours. How does it pull? Did you support anything under the trailer? It doesn't look like much meat down there to begin with. I'm a little scared to cut mine! It seems like when you cut the back half of the roof off, a lot of the support is then removed. I like how you left a portion of the existing wall and tied the deck support to the vertical structure. I was thinking about having the deck height much lower but below deck storage is awesome. It pulls great! Handles the Jeep fine. I boxed the cut off section with 2" angle, tieing it all together. I braced it all back together with the angled kickers to the deck. I Cut it at the height iI did to get tire clearance under the deck. That also gives alot of storage under the deck.
