Thanks, I built it this spring and just took it on it's maiden voyage a couple weeks ago. I wanted something narrow that would track in the same tracks as my truck. The super skinny roads up on WV are not great with a 102" wide trailer, and its nice to be able to go riding with my dad and not take separate trucks live we've been doing for years.

This seems backward, lol. Taking the f350 to get the ac fixed. I had to put the wd hitch back on the trailer for this one.

Well, I have to say, that was a fantastic tow in to work this morning. The Sequoia pulled the load great and stopped great. I couldn't be more happy with it's capabilities. @NCJeeplover I should have just come an got it with this. It would have been more comfortable, lol.

After owning "Lumpy" (hail damaged KS truck) for 8 years, plagued with chronic cooling systems crusties (clogged the oil coolerS (plural/multiple 
), and manifested in stoopid enough oil temps it'd start de-fueling.
Threw some Benjamin's at "polishing" the 6.0L (IPR Oil cooler relocation + filter & Turbo Lab of America "Stage 2 - 'Whistler'") over the winter...
Managed an effortless haul to Windrocks last week. Despite the heat, never saw the coolant temp above 205° and the Delta hit 17° once. Watched it like a hawk the first half and almost forgot about it on the return.

What brand is that and where'd you get it? Looks like my CM flatbed (that I want to replace) with buyer's boxes under it, but I don't recognize the logo on the back.

Its a Norstar SR with 18x18x24 Buyers boxes under the front. I was dead set on a CM Skirted until I saw how small the boxes were in the skirted beds.
Edit: @GLTHFJ60 It came from LB's Trailer Sales in Harmony, NC. Can't say enough about the customer service from them. Pricing was in line with other Norstar dealers, but this was in stock and Norstar had a special on install credits and the bed that essentially offset the cost of the boxes and part of the install.

That's why I went with a CM RD2 so I could put 18x18x24 boxes under it. Most all of the factory built skirted bed had tiny boxes and were stupid expensive anyway. The only one that I saw that looked pretty good was the Martin SB:

Correct. Installed this was over 3k less than a factory skirted bed and ended up with better storage.
It’s already saved me from having to drag a trailer to Chattanooga just for two pallets.

My junk NEEDS boxes as well (tired of clustering the back seat area with tools, etc.)
Question: Hard to tell, but looks like the bed narrows at the cab, and that's why the boxes are so far rearward/close to the rear tires?

That’s the reason why. We set the boxes back where the bed tapers up to the cab. Two boxes cleared out everything I used to keep in the back seat on a regular basis.

I inset mine as far as I reasonably could so I could get them all the way to the front of the bed and go with a 36” wide box instead of 24”. Also the cab&chassis frame is a couple inches narrower if I remember correctly, so that helps. And another inch or two on the cab to axle measurement helps.

Question both of you... any perceived issues dancing around the doors and loading heavier stuff as you get older?
IOW, have banged my legs on enough doors, all whilst stooping over to load a toolbox/5 gal bucket of goo/heavy objects AND have a real bed
that's 9' long... seriously thinking about mounting boxes on TOP, upside down so the doors will open up (high enough to miss my gourd using hydraulic openers) and doesn't appear to negatively affect what can be hauled...
