Lets see your yota?

Added a custom built 2022 TRD premium xp to the stable today. About 25 days to have it built and shipped. I got lucky. It’s the wife’s new ride. I’ve never bought a new vehicle in my life. It’s a great feeling.

Went yesterday and got in line for a Tacoma. I’ve bought a motorcycle off a showroom floor but never a full on vehicle. Can’t wait.

Congratulations to you and especially your wife.

After about two years…

I got a second FJ60 axle cut and turned and trussed to fit this rig. Installed TG big pump and hydro assist.

It’s off to a buddy’s shop to get some more tube work and adjusting.

And next to the wife’s 2022 4Runner for scale.

Little late on the post but picked this up a few months back. Absolutely love it! Currently on stock suspension and 285/75r16 KM3 but picked up some of the Eibach TRD Pro coils to swap out on it. States it should add a 1.5” of lift but multiple forums report anywhere from 1.25-2.5” even after settling. Plan on doing an AAL in the rear and possibly upgrading to some 35s and 17” beadlocks. Really digging the KMC Grenade Crawl wheels.

Nice truck!

Looking forward to seeing how you make it your own! Really want to see what it looks like if you swap out the fat lip bumper for one of the early model chrome ones.
I may get someone to make a winch bumper for it. I do like the 96-98 short bumpers better than the fat lips. If I do that I need an older chrome grille too.

Some changes to the 4Runner. I removed the tube steps, I have just never liked those things. I found some good used BFG MT tires in 255/75R17 to replace the slick 285s. Skinny tires rule….

I removed the body lift. It was just too tall for a daily driver. It has a small suspension lift so it has plenty to clear the current size tires. New tail lights, new stainless tail pipe, new battery terminals, new steering rack bushings. I have the hitch off for paint but it will be going back on.

Plans are to source and install 96-98 bumpers and grill. Some other little things but nit picky really….liftgate struts, window felt, Weathertech mats and good detailing.

Love it. Big fan of removing the body lift and the tube steps.
