Local (or not) Toyota dealer sans. the games?

The saga continues.....I have found a couple of trucks that meet my specs, but most of the dealers refuse to sell it without $4k-$6k of "add-ons".

I would add, these add-ons include Nitrogen in the tires, pin stripes, window tint, paint protection, their "4 year maintenance plan" and locking lug nuts.....most of the maintenance plans include 4 oil changes, and 2 tire rotations....great! The beauty is, these aren't even trucks they have invested any labor in....they aren't even on the lot, and won't budge off these dealer installed options.

I may just tune up my recently acquired 1996 Explorer and keep all the cash saved in the glove box so I feel better about the decisions I have made in life.

The best one I seen was 750$ (if I recall correctly on pricing) lowjack plan…. Nah, that’s what full coverage is for.

The number of dealers charging for weather-tech floor mats, when the window sticker ALREADY includes a $400 line item for Toyota all weather floor mats is hilarious.
The fact that anyone would pay $50 for nitrogen in the tires.....AIR is already over 70% Nitrogen....I get that you have to pay for the machine, it is the fact that the machine exists at all that I take issue with!
Do "Normal people" just roll in, and pay whatever is on the invoice and take whatever vehicle is on the lot that the dealer is willing to let them buy? I find everything about this process infuriating and insulting.
