That's a whole lotta NOPE. :sniper:

guesgsing the mouse trap worked and he was playing clean up

It's just a rat snake. He came in through the same holes that the mice are using.

Congrats, you killed a harmless black snake. Known for killing those pesky rats & mice.. Good Job!

I was just thinking that I don't have enough black snakes. Went into a shed the other day and mice had chewed a hole in my push mower has tank.

But not inside my house. Nope.

yea I got three kids I don't care if it's harmless not in the house if it was outside I would have let it live but inside off with his head plus how do you suppose I got the damn thing off the trap

This year alone I've placed 13 black snakes on my property that I've picked up while fishing! 4 years ago there were over population of copper heads on this land now you can't find one if you tried... My dogs and pigs are living proof they get rid of poisonous snakes by eating babies or eating their food supply either way you could have picked that snake up and saved the blood shed! :shaking:

Same thing in my house last month. We had just moved in. Not sure where it came from, I've never seen a mouse or even a dropping in this house. I had accidentally left my crawl space door open for a day, wondered if he went in, then I closed the door and he had to find a way in. I don't know, but my wife totally lost her mind and said she was ready to move back to the city. She didn't sleep for 3 nights.

I'm all for having black snakes, but opening the door and seeing one would kinda shock you. A couple years back, I had a few black hoses coiled up against the house, I went to grab one, felt weird, started moving in my hand...look down and realize a black snake had coiled itself around the outer ring of the hose. You've never heard a 6'5" 330lb dude scream in a higher octave before...pretty sure I peed a little too.

I'm all for non-poisonous snakes all over my property, I find them all the time around my workshop and pick them up and move them to the woods. If one of those bastards comes in the house though, he's losing his head. That's not ignorance, that's a snake getting into my personal space.....

Bruh...he was probably there first anyway...have you stopped to think maybe you're encroaching on his space??? What do you think Colin Kaepernick is protesting...sheesh.

So you are saying he didn't land in my house, my house landed on him? :p

^ haha lil method for the mind...

In the woods or in the shop... hes fine and dandy. In the house big fat H%!! NAW!!!

A few monthsago, I was unloading my truck camper and found one about 7 feet long hanging down from the top of the fresh water tank. The truck and camper had been parked about three weeks. I figured he was just looking for a cool place to sleep. He was gone the next day. I have to say, it scared that crap out of me when I first realized it was a snake and not a piece of a seal.

So how do you get a snake this size out of the house? I'm thinking a pillowcase or something? I just found a small one in the basement a few minutes ago and moved him out with a golf club. He is still alive and has has already disappeared into the yard.
