The U bolts that came with the black diamond kit were wrong, so I had to make a trip to El Advancio Autious and wade thru the illegals rebuilding their 1984 Areostar van's engine in the appartment complex parking lot to get some temporary U-bolts just for assembly

that cj-7's body looks like its in great condition, what else do you plan for it?

That wasn't the case when I got it....it had more sheetmetal missing than in tact.

It came as a 76 CJ-7, 258, T-150/dana20, 30/20 combo 3.54 geared, open with drum brakes all the way around, manual steering and manual brakes. I've got a YJ power booster, and a power steering set up I need to add, as well as putting in the front disc axle from the 84 with 3.73's and lock-rite with flopped tie rod.

I'd like to say a set of ARB's, a vortec 350 and auto with dana 300 twin stick and a winch......but thats quite a while off

For now this will be the mall crawler till I can find the funds to get a dedicated trail rig.

My First car was a Jeep

And I'm trying to recapture my youth  less the dorky bling and deer spotters :D

Looking real good man!!

Haven't peeled off the white yet.

They'll be black when I take them back off and finish them. Just leaving them on for now so they're not yet another item filling up the garage

Trying to mount everything I can just to free up garage floor space. I need a 4 bay heated/cooled out in the back corner of my property....that still wouldn't be enough I bet

One rock/root/tree on the trail will "finish them" (along with the underlying rockers)! Spend your time on something else... ;)

I'll have sliders before it see's action

this is to cover the MASSIVE rot that couldn't be repaired...or well, wasn't WORTH repairing.
