Hey ya'll currently I'm in Tx with the us Army learing how to be a firefighter and i was looking for a job as 1 firefighter or 2 mechanic or anyother type of hands on job I am looking for something close to Sanford, NC i will not be home till March but I figured I would start looking now thankyou

the brother of my wife's friend couldnt find a job as a firefighter in Michigan, so he had his sister inquire at the local FD. They said come on down, plenty of openings. That is Summerfield, just north of Greensboro. Phone # is 911

Not much in Sanford in the way of mechanic jobs. Can't help with the firefighting, but if I see someone, I'll ask.

Was looking in the Blues and Depressor, oops I mean the News and Observer and found a firefighter opening in Chapel Hill. A bit far from Sanford, but might be worth a look. Apply by Jan 9. Call (919) 968-2700 or go to www.townofchapelhill.org to download an application. Hiring rate is $10.27 an hour.
