Lots of interesting news today

I think $60 for a supercross ticket with pit access is too much. Concert is worth even less to me. Doesn't make it wrong for anyone else, just not my thing. But financing for the appearance of a lifestyle amongst all your other broke friends is cool or whatever.

Also, plenty of people would pay $20/30/40 a month to see this anyway:

Ah hell, they are on my play list! lol
Same.

I think somewhere, somebody thought it'd be cool to hate on them...and there were some bandwagoners but I save that kinda hate for Winger and U2

Used to like U2 but the lyrics have aged well. Or maybe to top forty sound of every song running together like mud.

Like Nickleback??

I would never do Coachella but I have been to a few rock festivals and it’s worth every penny. When you add up the ticket prices for seeing the bands individually it’s actually really cheap. Last one I went to in Virginia was AMAZING! Had like 6 stages and the lineup was phenomenal. The grounds were very clean and people were great (I believe that all being there for the same purpose makes them more amicable) View attachment 436668
Is this from a real show? Some of these bands are from way back. Also.this is what my playlist looks like

Yeah it was not sure if it has happened the last couple of years or no. The promoter burnt a lot of bridges with the venue and staff from what I heard. We were supposed to go back in ‘24 but didn’t cause we heard of a lot of shady shit when it came to taking presale money and the show probably not happening.

Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.

Interestingly a large part of radiology review (you know, where a human radiologist looks at an image set from an MRI and says - there's the little blob that's probably a neuroblastoma) is already much much automatable (its been done in teh research world for now) and could very easily be handled by "AI" - meaning an automated procedure. In fact a lot of radiologists will tell you outright they pretty much just are biological machines doing the same task over and over. There's nots of tools by which the radiologist can just be sent a picture with any abnormality already labeled and their job is just to verify yes or no.

But nobody is comfortable with not having a human to point the finger at to say "he found it" or better yet, "he missed it, I'm suing,"

Livin on the installment plan. :shaking:

True...but he developed his following by bashing just that

Duct tape proved to be the most effective problem-solving tool. Not only did the accompanying humans make makeshift robot shoes with duct tape, they also used it to adhere the head of a robot back onto its body after it repeatedly fell off during the run, making for some very jarring scenes.

I see the Chinese have learned the same important tricks about robotics as we have.
