Why I try not to stop anywhere on my way home from work if I am wearing a shirt with the company name/logo.

As someone who has had to fire an employee for being an asshole in a company logo shirt....to me it isnt about political affiliation - though there is certainly a polotical slant to THIS example...when wearing a logo, everything you do represents the brand.

This goes back to cowboy days and 'riding for the brand'....when 'brands' were a bit more permanent.

Yep. Im much more..... restrained..... if im wearing a company or FD shirt.
 
So, reading this, I geeked out for a second (ok.. 40 minutes) on a topic that has interested me: digital vs. analog night vision. It seems like digital night vision SHOULD be able to overtake analog as the way to go for optics. But there hasn't been enough of a market for innovation to drive research forward. I end up on a reddit thread of NV geeks with the usual "digital is crap, you need Gen III White Phosphor or you are suxzor". Then, this guy named PalmerLuckey starts chiming in to explain how digital NV will indeed overtake analog, and Anduril will be the ones to do it with their systems. I look up the account. No shit, it's the founder of the company coming on the Reddit threads to slap around keyboard warriors. I got a hand it to these Tech Bros, they are true to their roots.
