Apparently (from PMs) a few are interested in a car totalling mailbox.
12" Heavy Wall Process Pipe.
6' Buried with 4' above ground.
filled and filled in with concrete.
1/4" rebar spurs welded and laid into brick mortar

Beware. This can be a potential lawsuit. Not saying it's not total BS, but people have been sued and lost because of injuries/deaths caused by heavy duty mailbox posts. Personally, mine is 6", 1/4 wall pipe 4' in the ground and full of concrete with concrete in the hole. Too bad my box didn't hold up to a baseball bat a few years ago.

LOL! Well it is already done. We will see how it holds up!

Btw the Box is cut into the pipe so only the door sticks out so its virtually bat proof
