You can do that, but a 3/4-3/4 heim is not as strong as a 3/4-5/8 heim is. The method with the sleeve is to use the stronger heim.

Eh... maybe on paper. But the JMX12s have a static rating of like 28 kips. You'd break a knuckle first. Hell, you could probably talk me into running a regular JM12 without too much persuading. It's already better than a 1-ton GM TRE.
