1992 F350,220,000 miles,2wd,5.8,5speed,2 bench seats, awsome no a.c. option, spins one wheel on slick grass.I've known this truck since the company bought it new in 1992.It hauled 5 fat asses,100 gallons of fuel,4,000 pound trailer and 6,000 pound bobcat plus all the crap the bins and bed could carry , 5 days a week for 16 years.Culled it out of service in March of 2008 and I bought it for 1,000 dollars.Been my beater/tow pig since.I've invested very little in her since and if she blew up,burned up tomorrow, she doesn't owe anybody a thing.Ugly but she has been a goodun

78 K30, spent about 5 years or so as a DOT truck up in the mountains, then almost 30 years as a Brush/Rescue truck with a 250 gallon skid unit and various other equipment in the bed. Finally retired in 09, still sees farm truck/tow duty on a regular basis.

This thread should be re-named.

This is my manly truck.

Not sure if I should start a new turd truck thread with this one. 2003 F250, 5.4L, auto, 2wd. I bought it in late 2007 from my employer for the whopping sum of $750. It had about 75,000 miles on the odo, two new tires, a hole in the block half the size of my fist, two broke rods, and one piston completely sideways in its cylinder. My uncle found me an engine for $600, but the truck was smashed so bad the owner said he was not interested in pulling it. All in I had about 4 Saturdays spent pulling the donor engine, pulling the junk, swapping parts over, and reinstalling. Total cost to get it on the road was right at $1800 and that included tax, insurance, and a weighted tag. A year and half ago, a friend was driving it and someone ran a red light and caught my front bumper. I didn't tell the adjuster how much I had in it, I just let him keep counting dents and scratches. Still haven't replaced that bumper....

OK, I can get in on this one now! 95 F350 7.3L TD 2wd with 352K miles. A/C doesnt work, seat recline mechanism is a pair of vice grips on the seat frame, tail gate barely hanging on, interior door handles broken off (new ones ordered), half the gauges don't work...but she sure runs good!

'86 K10 rusted out body (still haven't done the body swap from the donor yet:shaking:) with a 350. Paid $500 for and it runs like a top.
