Metal roofing - installation?

Two of these attached to the top of that single half of an old ass aluminum extension ladder that everyone has laying around is what I use.

That makes a hell of a lot of sense, that would be perfect really. The roof itself is about 16' long tip to eave so I could always use my extension latter up there hooked over.
 
If the panels and your shoes are clean then that isn't bad to walk. But let some pollen get on it and you'll struggle to keep traction.
