Military training @ UNF?

I took the buggy down to UNF yesterday around 3 to do some "high speed" testing. Figuring there wouldn't be anyone there. I ran into (almost literally) a group of military hummers (maybe 6-8) of them along with several on 4 wheelers. It was dark about 6:30 or so when I came up on them. I rounded a corner and got back on the throttle hard only to slam on brakes. They were riding up the trail with no lights on and all wearing night vision goggles. From the looks of them shielding their eyes, my HID's were blinding them. Pretty creepy to see all of them with lights off, goggled up rolling up RML.

I saw them in the lot, didnt wave either time I passed.

I say they should use the area if it helps them. There are alot of places on brag as well but they get to know the area so most likely they want them somewhere new to throw the wrench in the system.

Last time I was at Uwharrie, we passed a bunch of dudes in some really hot looking gear hoofing it up Daniel. First time I had seen that.

Geez guys, seems to me he is actually using the word HOT in the correct way, not the way.

e.g. it looked like the gear would make them very toasty inside.

But I do find it interesting that's teh first thing you guys thought... "projecting"...

my bad, I saw the quote in BigJuggy's post, didnt realize it was altered, then quoted the 'original' post. That explains how I missed the fact that they probably werent geocachers.
