It is interesting to see who all proudly served in our millitary and who is still serving. What branch were you in, where did you serve, What did you do, There seems to be alot of fellow service members on here so post up about youre self.

Untied States Marine Corps
Tnak mechanic/ served as tanker and mechanic in Iraq.
Served as a combat instructor for 2 yrs at camp geiger.
Did 3 cax exercises in 29 stumps
Iraq form jan 13th 03, till june 25th 03
Medically retired on nov 15th 2005. as a Sgt
 
My Husband was a Marine for 5 years.

Assault Amphibious Crewman (Tracker)
2 tours to Iraq
Stationed at Camp Lejeune, NC (Which is how we met)
Contracted ended July 2010.
Did CAX I don't even know how many times, lol
 
Army from 89 to 95. 82nd airborne for the first couple of years. Then spec ops. Dissabled vet now.! I loved my time in!

Aviation Ballistic Computer Technician, ANASQ-61, on E6 aircraft.
 
Army from 81 till 93. Was a 19D scout when I went in, got into Special Ops and stayed there from 86 to 93. Got to visit lots of interesting places and do interesting things LOL. Nat. Guard from 94 to 2001, went back in after 9/11 and stayed in 4 more years. Retired as a E8/1SGT. DAMN I'm old.

96-99 United States Air Force.

Started off in Signals Intel (copied Morse code). Moved onto Supply at Ellsworth AFB SD and supplied parts to the B-1b bomber.

Blew my knee out which is why it was a short term, I planned on going career.
 
U.S. Army from June '77 to April '88. 63B Wheel Vehicle Mechanic. Was also a recovery specialist, which put an additional skill identifier(ASI) on the end of my MOS. Was also an AIT instructor, teaching recovery techniques, off road driving, etc. This also carried an ASI. Then, I became a Drill Sergeant, also with an ASI. My MOS when I got out was 63B3XHH8. Served at Ft. Knox, Ft Stewart, GA, Germany, FT Dix, NJ, and Aberdeen Proving Grounds/Edgewood Arsenal, MD. And to all serving or having served, thanks for your service.

Army Infantry, A Co 2-325 AIR (82d) from May '07-present. came to Iraq in '07, redeployed in '08, went to Haiti in '10, and now I'm back in Iraq for OND.
 
Enlisted into the Army National Guard at 17yrs old on April 16th 2003 as a 88M(truck driver) Did 2 tours to Iraq
1st tour 2003 with 1451st TC
All i did was convoy escorts as a M2 .50cal Machine gunner
2nd tour 2009 with Eco 230th 1st 120th 30th brigade as a 63A(tank mechanic) but as of 2009 there are no track wheeled vehicles aloud on the road in Iraq so then i volunteered to be a M2 .50 machine gunner again.
Currently awaiting a Medical evaluation board for a medical retirement following my last deployment because of too many back surgery and currently a E5 SGT

6493 Aviation Meteoroligical Equipment Maintenance Technician(weather?...you mean like rain and snow?..yes...like rain and snow:flipoff2:). I worked on everything from fax machines to radar to satellite receivers to the machines that track weather balloons.
Spent time in California, Tennessee, Mississippi, Okinawa, Korea, Arizona, and at the MWTC in Bridgeport, CA.
Given the chance to do it again.....I'd do it again.

1984-1988 US Marine Corps,MSSG-22, Supply Admin, I was put in the same unit that was in the Beirut Embassy which was blown up in Oct 1983 as a replacement. 2 Med floats, USS Austin 6 months, USS Raleigh, 6 months.
