Moab

We got pulled in the tow rig after being in town for all of 10 minutes! Never drove the rigs in town though.
I'll go back anytime. The problem is finding someone else that can work it into their schedule.:flipoff2:

Hey now, gotta lay blame on the PSD for this one haha. Seriously though...this summer. Let me know when yall can get off work.

Sam and Travis and whoever else is looking to ride. Me, Dustin and Hunter will all be moving to Denver and two weeks. We just finalized the lease and turned in our deposits. We can always find time to get off work for wheelin hopefully. Keep us in mind in yall end up coming back out and we can all hook up.

What did you guys do for lodging in Moab?

It better had been the Red Stone Inn, 535 Main St, Moab UT... best place money can buy. It is cheap and close to everything.

Nice pics, that looks like pritchet canyon in that one picture. Did you make it to the brewery? Moab is an awesome town.

Most of the women we saw in town were rock climbers. Next time your in Moab check out the hands on some of these womens. Their definitly not girly hands, but they have some fit bodys.

A few more pics, all from Pritcett

Aaron, Travis, nice to meet and wheel with you guys. Had a blast, especially in the dunes and Coyote Canyon. I have all the video I took finally into digital format, now I just have to edit it and I can send you guys a copy. Most of the pics I took are on Karen's laptop since my memory card was not big enough.

They were in the high 70's the days I was their. I got sunburned pretty damn good though! Last year we had some snow flurries one evening, then tshirt weather for a few days and then some wind. Wind can be pretty brutal but was not bad this time.

I pack for all climates because it can change so much in the spring. Cold weather gear, summer gear, and windgear. I bought the first tube of Chapstick in probably 15 years due to sun and wind.

Nice to meet you too, Ken. I really appreciate Carl inviting us to tag along. Let me know when you get the videos together.
Here are some pics of the rest of our group for the week.

I really regret missing this trip. I should have gone. Carey told me from day one that you would eventually talk me into it. Looks like you had a blast. Maybe next time. So was Aaron too big for the trails or was the "big rigs are not needed in Moab" a bunch of bull?

Kick ass time, you should have been there. We had to be creative to get Aaron's rig through some spots, but I don't think he ever touched the body. Upper Helldorado and Coyote were tight, but he made it through with no issues. Big rides not recommended, but with a good driver, can still enjoy it. Its probably a good thing that his tranny was having issues, cause he would have done his best to make that thing fly at the dunes.

Now for a really important question..........is Moab in a dry county? First time I went to Tellico I didn't realize Murphy was dry until going to the grocery store and not seeing any beer.

yes greg, you really missed a great trip. i would go back tomorrow if you buy the fuel. the big rig wasn't all that bad but it would have been pointless with out rear steer. the 4 runner would be fine, both cab trucks with us had exo's and they didn't hang up anywhere too bad. the biggest issue with size/lbs is how much more fuel it takes to haul it. when i go back it'll be with 2x the ponies and 1/2 the weight. it will be on 40" ltb's too....i was VERY pleased with the 47's

let's start planning for next year so we're sure to make it happen
