Moab

Now for a really important question..........is Moab in a dry county?

It is not dry. But you need to buy beer outside of Utah. Being a mormon state, they have crazy alcohol laws. No beer sold in the state can have more than 3.2% alcohol, micro brews may not apply. Most of the restuarants have their own brew.

Thanks for the heads up, I'll keep that in mind.
Two days and counting, I'm starting to get antsy.
The last big item to check off the list is getting my class "A" driving test before the DMV closes tomorrow. Nothing like waiting till the last minute.

better plan $2000 just to be safe...esp if you are pulling two. and bring some extra cusions to sit while in OK. that section of hwy 40 is BAD

i just guesstimated....roughly $1600 in fuel?
Not that my wife kept a spread sheet or anything-
$1971 in fuel pulling two rigs-ranger and feep
8.4ish mpg in the 5.9 Goat
av. price per gal. 3.92
4074 miles
running 80mph, grossing 22k and being able to accelerate priceless :)

next year

prichets canyon looks firmilar, i put my yoda on its side there. moab is a awesome place. we need to get a herd of people to go for next year.

Where's the videos? We'll be there starting the weekend of Oct. 3rd. Gonna play with some good friends there for 4 or so days, maybe catch a day or 2 of the naxja anniversary run and then go hit up some insanity in CO. Anybody comin?

Coyote looks like fun, never seen that one. BFE rocks!! We'll scholl britney spears. Mom's buggy will be done, hopefully mine too.

Sean

I pulled the lime YJ in the pics that Travis posted home through CO, KS, MI, IL, TN and on to NC. Bought 2 less tanks of diesel than the route of I-40. WOULD NOT GO THAT WAY WITH 2 RIGS unless you like buying parts for your truck. We have pics of the gps at 11681 ft above sea level. But what a beautiful drive and I am glad we did it but next year we will pull out I40 and back the same way. Had a great time and way more fun than last year. Thanks to Aaron, Travis, Karl, and Ken.

Looks like everyone had a great time.
We just got back last night. 31.5 hours to get home. We headed through KA and wheeled in Montrose CO last Sat and then Sunday headed down to Moab and wheeled Sunday thru Thurs. We hit Hells Revenge and Hell's gate, Moab Rim, Rusty Nail, Pritchet Canyon, Golden spike. Then headed home through NM, TX, OK via I-40. Awsome time!

Where's the videos? Sean

Video is waiting on Aaron. Coyote was awesome, like normal, the pics don't do it justice. When I think of technical extreme rockcrawling, that is now the trail that comes to mind.

Glad to see yall made it back Steve, hope you had as much fun out there as we did.

Nice avaitar, Allison thought that was the coolest picture. She wants to blow it up and frame it for you.

Thanks, I've got plans to do that myself, but don't know if I'll ever get around to it. If you want some of the originals, let me know.

Dude, I know you have more pics.
