Any of you guys go every monday? I usually get the same thing everytime, but I wanna try to get some different things on my burritos, but I hate how I can't get queso on my burrito without being charged the same amount if I were to get a side of it. So Im trying to figure out what all they charge extra for.
So what do you guys get on your burritos?

I recently discovered the roasted corn pico which is pretty damn good.

Steak Homewrecker with black beans, roasted corn pico, jalepenos, rice, sour cream, LOTSA cheese, guacamole and occasionally lettuce - last time the lettuce was all brown, so I skipped it.

Just ate there Thursday for lunch.

I don't eat there... I went once or twice a few years ago and decided if I wanted to eat a burrito I would go to a real mexican place and spend half the money.

Cool story bro.

Just came from there...never realized that the joey, homewrecker, and Veggie one all use the same tortilla shell. Always thought the Homewrecker was the biggest one they had....
Waited in line for almost 20 min but it was well worth it.

This. Though Chipotle and Qdoba are quite good too, but there's not one in every small town. My wife used to be a really big Moe's fan until I took her to a Chipotle. Changed her life.

Price and the availabilty of outdoor seating are big determining factors in where we go out to lunch. Moe's Monday used to be one of the few places we could hit for lunch and stay under $6. Price just went up, but at $6.41, its still pretty reasonable. Throw-in the outdoor seating, and its usually up for consideration on a Monday.

I always get the whole grain tortilla. I never call 'em joey, homewrecker, etc, I just say whole grain burrito with chicken and black beans. Never tried the roasted corn salsa, maybe I'll give it a try. Fresh cut jalepenos, the spicy guac is key, along with the standard salso, cheese, lettuce, then I also like to add cucumbers, sometimes olives. The ranch (is is chipolte ranch?) is pretty good too.
For chips, I can never remember the sauce's name, either kaiser or el guapo. I think the brownish red one tastes like ass, the other tastes fresh and yummy; its fresh and red looking.

PS Welcome to Moes!

I got grilled onions and peppers on mine today.....wanted to try that southwest sauce...the problem I have with Moe's Mondays is the crowd...I always feel so rushed when ordering and forget to add something i wanted to try....like today...forgot about the spicy guac :(

and I think its alot of food for the money....when they don't skimp on the chips.

They've gone downhill lately. I'm assuming you're talking about the one up here on Samet Dr. I used to hit them up on Monday's for a Homewrecker quite regularly, but the last few times I went, it just wasn't the same. Used to be a good deal at $5.55 combo on Mondays. but any other day and You'll spend $10 on the same meal. Sounds like prices have gone up again since I was there last. Higher prices, lesser quality..... where's the Taco Truck?

^ Yep thats the one.
But like Renegade said...even at $6...still a good deal with chips and drink. Not a fan of Chipotle.....not sure what it is.

These food trucks need to find a spot near this area to set up during lunch hours......

Hey if you didn't want opinions maybe you shouldn't start a new thread every day. I just knew I wouldn't be the only one who felt this way and it seemed fitting to share.

You mad bro?

Just messing with you.

No need to start turning green.

I remember from previous posts some funny things you said about getting angry at other people. Just thought I'd rowdy you up a bit. No harm. I come in peace.

I'm with XJfreak. I have an iron stomach and could eat Mexican EVERY SINGLE DAY! I work with two Hispanic guys that have taken me to all these little Mexican grocery stores with grills and cafes in the back, taco trucks and everything in between. When I say mexican, I mean real Mexican. Not that run of the mill LA Hacienda stuff. Never ate at Moe's, but been to similar places and they all taste like a fancier, fresh food taco bell. I just threw up typing taco bell.

Sometimes I think I should have married a Mexican woman.

My Dad has preached to me since I was young...

"Marry a hispanic girl, they cook, they clean, and they always have nice asses"

Haha

I have 2-3 mexican ladies that do temp work for me. I constantly call them back for all three of those reasons. They sometimes bring in homemade tamales for me, the work hard and....certainly can't complain about the last!

Haha, my wife looks a little hispanic, but isn't. She has dark brown hair, her skin tans dark almost instantly in the beginning of summer just from walking around outside, and well of course has a nice butt, lol. Last time we were on an airplane, a hispanic guy sitting next to her started talking to her in spanish, lol.

I gave up on the burritos when I realized I could get a single over-achiever for half the cost. It's plenty of food, especially when you add in the chips.

Fun fact: a home wrecker with chips and a drink is damn near your entire day's calorie intake. Burrito alone is 1k.

How do you think I maintain my girlish figure?!?!?! LOL

I hope no one in CHarlotte is driving by Phat Burrito to eat at a Moes.

What's with the burrito snobbery, anyway? I'm all about burrito diversity.

Except where Chipotle is concerned. That place is gross.

You know they are endless chips right? All you gotta do is go ask for more:bounce:

did not know that, thanks. Good luck though, busting thru the monday lunchtime crowd up to the chip serving area. Its hard enough working your way over to the drink area for refills.

Chipotle = No Queso. That's No Bueno for me! I still rather have Moe's before Chipotle or Qdoba.
